@SongbirdN7 There's some continuity differences with the Eden raids WRT MSQ which makes it preferred to do the 5.0/5.2 raids before 5.3 MSQ, and the 5.4 raids after.

@SongbirdN7 Nier raids can be whenever, they are only really Canon to Nier cause Yoko Taro is insane, but don't interest with FF14 story directly.

If you haven't done any of the Eden raids, nows good for doing first 2 wings. Recommend doing those before 5.3, then 3rd wing after 5.3.
