@TotalWorldApps Exactly! We really take for granted fungibility for assets between chains. Now I’m not saying that the answer is not to try to make it super smooth. The first thing we need to do is acknowledge the scale of the problem. So Ty for seeing that!
@adelbucetta@eco Exactly! And the job of infrastructure providers is to be able to allow stablecoin issuers to provide these consistent experiences without too much complexity! The harder it is to do, the fewer will do it!
Thanks for the shoutout! We are so excited for this one because the TLDR of the design is that it enables teams like ours to switch between our liquidity and exogenous liquidity. We call applying this technique in our own solver “liquidity stitching” (WIP name don’t murder me @jayks).
It allows us to compose with defi to route our excess orderflow. While abstracting it for the user.
One of the reasons we are mindful of this and focus on coordination features like these so heavily is due to this excellent paper.

Higher limits. Lower latency. Greater reliability.
@BuildOnCircle breaks down how Gateway powers Eco to fill $1M+ crosschain @USDC orders, at 10x the previous limits, without sacrificing protocol reliability.

Every Economy needs Rails.
To move goods from place to place, connect economic hubs, enable them to trade and specialize. Stablecoins need rails too, to move between chains quickly, efficiently, at size and on schedule. To network the dollars.
A fragmented landscape of blockchains is just another wall for you and your money to navigate.
Eco builds new rails for the Stablecoin Economy—connecting every major chain and protocol into one seamless network.
Smarter Infrastructure. Global Connection.
The Stablecoin Economy Grows with Eco.
@k_schellinger@eco Great question! We do! So this technology described above allows our solvers to combine swaps either at intent creation (source) or at fulfillment (destination) by using this in conjunction with our Eco Routes. Let me know if you were wondering anything specific in this flow

I had to explain to one of my non-crypto savvy, parent-friends what Permit3 was, and why this was such a big deal for @eco, so I took a quick stab at it:
🧵 ↓
I want to also give a huge s/o to @p_e. We have just started talking about p3 publicly and it shows how well read up on the space he is and the interest he shows keeping up with the latest developments. The passion is obvious. I found it a delightful read! Let us know if you ever want to do a roundtable podcast with some of our partners and us to talk more about the permit space live!
There's a new Permit standard in town introduced by @eco, which could have big implications for cross-chain asset management.
Here's the full journey from permit() → Permit2 → Permit3.
↓
@fiddyresearch@gakonst@gakonst this might be possible as a additional field returned from the rpc server. Since it’s already simulating. Apps that care can surface that
Pretty similar pattern to permit2. Think of it as a single signed message that contains nested permits which you can unpack on each source chain to create intents etc. With ECO’s solvers then you have a choice. Send direct to target or include one extra permit on the destination to do a transfer from the users account so the user can be the msg sender!
bullposting @ithacaxyz and Porto, really excited to see this roll out and support it.
@eco we're constantly working to improve stablecoin UX and make stablecoin use seamless across chains. Porto is one of the best new solutions we've integrated.
More to come here 👀
Ever since I helped build @bend_eco. I have been waiting for smart wallet tech that truly allows easy abstraction.
@ithacaxyz is the best one I’ve seen so far. Props to @gakonst and the cracked devs who made this possible.
Today, @Ithacaxyz's Porto integrates with the Eco Portal, bringing passwordless login and seamless onboarding to make cross-chain stablecoin transfers even easier.
Porto provides developers a single package that creates seamless user onboarding for crypto apps.
