@2Steady4U@eduardobrg_@Bloxy_News I was working on a game that surpassed the 1M+ playtime in 90 days by a good bit. Held it consistently for months. Nobody apart of the team ever got verified.
Early on UGC creators made hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions, from creating a mesh & texturing it. That was really something that was unheard of prior to UGC. Nobody should be financially relying on a market where Roblox selects particular devs to receive special treatment.
The only good reason for it that I can get behind is that they helped test the new creator marketplace - and for that, they reaped the benefits. But it should be over with now.
Nothing against the program but it’s insane how much they complain for basically being given a free opportunity to make as much money as they did. Modeling accessories & creating entire games aren’t even close.
@StevenJHarmon1@AntonHand Has everything to do with the product and nothing to do with the person creating the game. Most of the people I work with don’t even have degrees and earn 10x that of those who do.
