#aplac(Did this in another tweet but want to elaborate) The idea behind marriage being expected in Fahrenheit is something that can be easily compared to today's society. Although marriages meaning almost nothing is an exaggeration but can still be seen through the divorce rates.

#aplac3 A book to book connection would be Ready Player One and the connection to technology the people in the book had. In both Fahrenheit 451 and Ready Player One the citizens had a dependency on technology so much that it would replace aspects of their normal lives.

@annaleighhh1234 I believe that Mildred's suicide attempt was a example of how distracted the people in this book are. Television being the culprit of Mildred's accident.
