Shocking stat of the day:
Foreign purchases of US equities are up to a record ~$850 billion over the last 12 months.
This figure has more than QUADRUPLED since the start of 2025.
This is also ~450% above the average recorded during since 2000.
As a % of total equity market cap, foreign purchases are up to ~1.3%, the highest level since the post-Financial Crisis recovery in 2010.
By comparison, the 2021 meme stock frenzy peak was ~1.1%.
Foreign demand for US equities has never been stronger.
Retail investors are increasingly driving the market:
Retail's share of total single-stock trading volume has reached 14%, the highest since at least 2018.
This even surpasses the ~12% recorded during the meme stock frenzy of 2020-2021.
By comparison, the average over the last few years has hovered around 10%.
Individual investors’ top holdings are Nvidia, $NVDA, Apple, $AAPL, and Tesla, $TSLA, at $472 billion, $284 billion, and $256 billion, respectively.
In other words, retail investors own over $1 trillion in just 3 stocks.
Do not underestimate the power of retail.
🚨 BREAKING: SpaceX will be installing Starlink Minis in ALL Kerr County, TX first responder vehicles TODAY amid catastrophic flooding, Starlink VP @LaurenDreyer confirms to me
THANK YOU @elonmusk!
First responders have been STRUGGLING to contact HQ and other Texas flood rescue teams. Even the expensive radios they’ve been given don’t work. So this is INCREDIBLE news.
@Starlink saves lives!
25 years ago, Florida was the swingiest of America’s swing states, deciding the 2000 election by fewer than 550 votes.
Today, “The Democratic Party in Florida is dead.” Don’t take it from me. Take it from the party’s own Florida senate leader, who just quit the party in outright despair.

Potential Trump policy disruptions 'may not be priced in' to stock market rally, Citi says 👀
"S&P 500 price action signals that investors continue to view a “pro-business” bias to the platform," Citi US equity strategist Scott Chronert wrote a note, "We don’t disagree but also argue that related policy disruptions to fundamentals may not yet be priced in." 🗣️
What do you think?
@JohnLewisRetail 3 times the watch failed and now they are saying i have to page a 1/4 of the price of the watch to get it fixed. This is an documented fault yet we are being treated appallingly and talked down to. Expected so much more from John Lewis
@JohnLewisRetail my wife bought me a watch for my wedding day, within the first 6 months the strap kept breaking which was repaired. The watch strap then fails again and this time drops off my wrist to the floor causing damage.
@Iberia are still refusing to pay me back in full for the expenses I incurred at their hand on our Honeymoon. I have outlined our story below. They have treated us so badly and lied so much I have struggled to believe it. I don’t even want compensation just my money back. #PasEx
This what happens when you try and make a complaint against Iberia through there own website link. They will do anything to stop you getting a full refund. @iberia#PasEx#CustomerExperience#CustomerServiceFail
@Iberia I wanted to follow the link to CAA website complaint point which it shows on your website and then comes up with the above screen. I also said complaint not claim
@British_Airways booked a flight direct through BA and did not fly on a BA plane once in 4 flights and had the worst experience which I have summarised below. Simply shocking, be careful of this trap as the simply fob you off on their sister airlines. #PasEx
