Keldric Faulk, Auburn #15
10 career sacks. Only 2 in 2025.
I went back through every 2025 game that Auburn's opponent threw 35x or more (5 games)
Like we already knew - Faulk was often used anywhere from a 4i to a 0 - so that was going to cut into his opportunities naturally to really get after the QB as an edge defender.
But when I went back and watched those pass rush reps, it was also very apparent how much opponents still respected Faulk with the slides & chips they'd send his way.
There were also multiple opponents on Auburn's schedule that rarely used traditional drop-backs (Missouri, Oklahoma).
It was also apparent how often Auburn used that to their advantage when Faulk was on the edge by running twists or blitzes inside of him to manufacture production from others.
In the end - I still wouldnt classify Faulk as an elite edge rusher. But I also dont think Auburn did him many favors to showcase what he can do.
I have no concerns with Faulk as a traditional DE that can handle business in the run game and then be moved all over the front on pass rush downs with a positive impact.
