Congratulations to starting linebacker Bennett Baumgartner — our Practice Player/DAWG of the Week, selected by the coaching staff!

Bennett, a senior, has earned everything through relentless determination, discipline, and grit. Midway through the season, his effort in the weight room and on the practice field propelled him into a starting role — and since then, he’s taken full advantage of every opportunity.

Each week, Bennett has grown more confident and more comfortable in his position. That confidence has unlocked his speed, physicality, and playmaking ability — and he’s become a true difference-maker in our last two playoff games when it mattered most.

What impresses us most is that despite his toughness and drive, Bennett remains humble, coachable, and committed to a TEAM-first attitude. He embodies exactly what it means to be a PV DAWG.

We’re fired up to see Bennett continue making a major impact in Friday’s state semifinal. He’s earned this moment, and he’s earned our respect.
