Did you know that Sketch will not even sell you a one-time license anymore for their Mac-based executable? (And also they have some excuse for why they will not offer a free license for its Cloud offering). It’s amazing how quickly things change. (1/2)

I don’t really want to bash other disciplines and topics, but c’mon, how can our kids be graduating from high school without these basic computer skills?

Our schools are failing to teach our kids basic computer literacy: typing and coding. In contrast, starting at Grade 4, my children have a period of French every day.

They have hundreds of hours of music instruction where they do not master any instrument or learn the basics of music theory. They continue to have assignments in Art up to the last year of middle school. I’m sure wherever you live you can come up with a parallel to this.
