Each turn an LLM picks one artist or refuses and proposes an amount.
An allocation engine prices that bid against a shadow price (lambda) that rises as the pool drains.
Paying one artist raises the cost of the next. It trades off, and it stops when nothing clears the bar.
If you can finally pay per listen, the hard question isn't how to pay. It's who.
A budget that pays everyone a flat rate isn't deciding anything. So we made the budget scarce and handed the choice to an agent.
Talos solves the real gap between an ai agent that knows how to spend money & one with just no taste but money. Every decision is mapped out & can be verified
GM guys happy weekend✨
I’ve been testing @streamTalos and it's actually so good . It’s an AI that plays music and then PAYS the artists in real money per listen. It sounds so clean on my earbuds too.
So guys, I’ve been testing @streamTalos and I’m honestly impressed. It’s an AI powered music platform that actually pays artists real money per listen. The sound quality is top notch surprised me. It’s definitely feels like a unique kind of streaming experience.

Pooling is why you get ~$0.003 a stream, quarterly, after a distributor, a label, and a PRO each take a cut. The per-listen unit was never sellable on its own, it couldn't clear the fee. The problem was never demand. Money just couldn't move in the size music trades in.
Streaming didn't underpay artists because platforms are greedy. It underpaid them because of a fee floor.
Card rails cost roughly 30 cents plus a percentage per transaction. Below about a dollar, the fee eats the payment. So the industry pooled everything.
Talos is an autonomous AI that listens to music and pays the artist — per play, in real USDC, on-chain, the moment it hears them.
Taste. A scarce budget. The freedom to choose who's worth it.
How it decides, each turn:
> embeds your taste, ranks the catalog by meaning
> Thompson-samples: explore new vs exploit proven
> prices its bid against λ + hard budget caps
> pays, or skips
> Then prints its concentration: 44% on one artist vs 17% even. Measurable agency.

Every artist it pays makes the next dollar more expensive — a shadow price (λ) that climbs as the pool drains. So it can't pay everyone.
It decides who's worth the next cent, and refuses when the math doesn't clear.
That's what makes it an agent.
It doesn't pay everyone.
Its budget is scarce — so every artist it backs makes the next dollar more expensive. It chooses, and refuses when the value isn't there.
You watch it reason, live.
