I always wanted to try the steam deck or an equivalent and I had an old raspberry lying around, so I tried stream-pi.
It's not plug and play, but it's work really well with blender and hammer
Final product!
Made this #StreamPi with the official software from the #streampicommunity. The case has been painted black and green for some neat front view. Now i'm going to enjoy my streampi made with my #RaspberryPi. I will post a scene by scene #photography when its done.
@FlameSilver I have one. Think PipBoy (3d printed arm mount), for streaming. I'm thinking it could be done with a PiZero, the StreamPi Software, and at least a 5 inch capacitive touch screen. Power it with a couple of 18650 batteries. Since the StreamPi works over network, It'd be wireless.
@moyamatthieu Stream-Pi in its current form does not support this. But I think with minor tweaking and small changes something like this can be used. However, I cant find any documentation regarding how to program this button. Can you provide one?
Kid helped deploy @stream_pi using gear we already had.
Now I want to upgrade the @Raspberry_Pi Zero (1st gen) to 3b+ so I can use console mode!
#JavaFX
This is going to be super fun!
@dashaun@Raspberry_Pi Thank you so much for trying this out.
You can also put animated GIFs, and add in more buttons (rows) to use your screen to the full potential :D
The next iteration of Stream-Pi will also be far far more powerful: https://t.co/PHsDuIGqSA
@RealDeafilamor@hansolo_@Raspberry_Pi@GluonHQ The actions are in heavy development, but the Toggle Action system is already available in the latest Snapshot builds. Although its still going through active work and will take a while until its ready for daily usage :D
The “new” stream-pi website is now live. r Rebuilt in React by our dev team, it looks the same but behind the scenes it’s all new code! https://t.co/3yxDo3o45B
@ofclvelocity I'm running a StreamPi setup with an Android device I already own, because I'm about stonks-ing operation costs, but sometimes it's indeed a good investment to have specialized hardware once you have the income! Those Stream Decks look awesome.
@Loupning @yeemachine oh that's a good way to make this work it out, i use StreamPi for this, since i'm a dev i just modded so all my pcs are connected to it, and it running on my phone, it actually make way easy on me to deal with all the stuff running
