It is therefore recommended to *withdraw/undelegate all tokens from existing Operators asap*, and wait for updated contract versions to become available, and then redeploy.
The Streamr ecosystem suffered a hack today, whereby an attacker was able to steal some (21M DATA) of the tokens deposited to Operator smart contracts belonging to node operators and delegators, and convert them to around $4k in value.
More information below.
Only unstaked tokens in Operator contracts were vulnerable, and any such tokens continue to be vulnerable.
DATA actively staked on sponsorships, or tokens not participating in the Operator ecosystem at all, are not vulnerable.
