Your citizenship really determines so much for you. As a Nigerian, your matter long ooo.
I had a Saudi classmate when I was fling my Masters. He explained to me that all Saudis in the UK were fully sponsored by the government. I asked what his plan was after school, he said he was going back home to take up a job. He didn't even like the UK. I don't blame him, he struggled with the language and culture.
I had Korean classmates (those ones are always rich and clean). No one was staying back or had plan to.
I saw Chinese classmate 2 years later. He had started a business with his babe. He told me the government encourages them to take loan to invest abroad. I thought we were just having a discussion. I didn't know he had his plan mapped out.
My Spanish friend (the only one I still talk to), I asked him when he was going to pick up his British passport since he was eligible for it having been in UK for many years, he said he didnt need it that his passport takes him where he needs to go. I spoke to him recently and he said he is looking to leave the UK soon. He wants to return home to Barcelona. That reminds me, he has been inviting me to Barcelona 🤦♂️
At the start of Covid, my Canadain flatmate packed his bag and left. He told me he would finish his program from there. I once asked how he was paying for his program (Law Undergraduate), he said he took a loan from the bank in Canada.
Then you look at Nigerians- we are always looking for how to stay back at all cost because home offers nothing. Conversation always centred around sponsorship jobs - even if it is care job. This is after working 12 hours shift through out your Masters to pay for your fees and cover for your living expenses. People are even so desperate, they are paying 10k to 12k for sponsorship job just to stay back.
Nearly 20 years after his death, the body of Ugandan musician Paul Job Kafeero was dug up from the grave for DNA testing to determine which of the 25 children he had were biologically his.
The legendary Ugandan musician died in 2007 at the age of 36.
For nearly 20 years, his 25 children and their mothers fought over his multi-billion Ugandan shilling estate, including land, houses, and music royalties.
The long standing dispute eventually led the court to order that his body be dug up and his bone and tissue samples were collected for DNA tests.
1st June 2026, it was dug up for test and 25th June 2026, the results were released.
Only 4 out of his 25 children were confirmed to be his biological children. The other 21 children were not his.
I am placing a ₦2 million bounty for credible information that leads to the identification, location, and arrest of this individual.
This is the face of one of the criminals.
When they arrived, the first thing they did was try to dismantle the CCTV camera outside my shop.
Unfortunately for them, the camera had already captured the face of one of them before they tampered with it.

HOW CAN A FULANI ISLAMIC JIHADIST AND TERRORIST RAISED UNDER THIS CONDITION BE FULL OF COMPASSION. THUS THE RELIGION OF PEACE HAVE COMPASSION IN THE FIRST PLACE. WHY IS EVERYTHING ABOUT allah FORCEFUL
These are youths in Katsina demanding blood because someone was accused of blasphemy.
They never filled the streets over the bandits terrorizing their communities, the collapsing economy, or the hardship destroying their future. But they were quick to mobilize because they believe a 7th-century illiterate surrounded by controversy must never be criticized.
That is what religious indoctrination does. It convinces people to defend the reputation of a long-dead religious figure while ignoring the real problems ruining their own lives.

"I appeal to every eligible Nigerian who has not yet registered for a Permanent Voter Card (PVC) to do so.
I understand that some people chose not to register after what happened in 2023, and I know many have their reasons. But we must not give up on our country. Every vote determines the future of Nigeria. Let us rise above disappointment, register, collect our PVCs, and participate in building the Nigeria we all desire."
— NDC presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi

“When you put M0rons like Ayodele Olawande in important positions like Minister for youth development, this is what happens. They make unwise decisions. Adire to replace NYSC khaki? Adire is a Yoruba Attire. Igbos, Hausa, nupe, efik edo , Ijaw and may other tribes no get cloth? Why’re you assigning a yoruba attire to a National youth service program?”
Verydarkman questions the minister of youth development
Adire and Ankara can’t be the uniform for all NYSC members across the country. We are all not from the SW region.
The current uniform is sexless, detribalized and smart.
NYSC is still one of the few programmes that genuinely promotes national unity by exposing young Nigerians to different cultures, people and ways of life.
Rather than focusing on cosmetic changes like uniforms or ceremonies, we should be addressing the real issues affecting the scheme and investing in practical, long-term entrepreneurship education.
The FG should rethink this.

"Late President Buhari went to China to borrow money to construct a rail line from Nigeria to Niger. Look at the current condition of the rail track, and up till now, we are still paying for the loan. Rotimi Amaechi, look at your handiwork."
