Restaurant jobs should be low stress. It’s just food, not world peace. Cooking for others should be joyful. Restaurants have BECOME stressful over the years because the way people dine has changed. Satisfaction is no longer acceptable. Diners expect euphoria.
@KrustyCusty OMG!!! THAT SUCKS!!! I am SO TERRIBLY sorry for you! I have totally been there and I know this is probably not what you want to hear but HANG IN THERE!!! It's THEIR loss and there's something even BETTER out there for you but you have GOT to keep trying❤❤❤
@TalesTrenches Thank you SO MUCH for the retweet❤ I have a "scheduled call" w the unemployment office on Friday, not sure if they just want to verify that I was a server or if I have to be ready to defend myself!
@Just1chance92@killherbaby @FOHprobz I am SOOO HAPPY for you that you are at a place that makes sure you wear them, they sound like a PAIN IN THE ASS to wear through an entire shift but it can only keep you more safe than without one❤
Servers working in reopened dining rooms, (1st of all props to you bc you're brave AF!) is it as bad as I'm envisioning it? Getting orders through masks, delivering food with gloves on, cleaning up leftovers and dirty napkins? How is this even sanitary?
