Now Grangemouth is shut, 460 workers are on the dole, and Scotland imports fuel from halfway round the world.

£8.5m for “up to 460 jobs over five years” is a joke — that’s £18,500 per job, delivered sometime before 2030, while the refinery jobs vanished in April 2025.

This isn’t a just transition.
It’s the same old SNP hypocrisy: kill the industry with one hand, throw pocket money at the wreckage with the other, then blame Westminster.

Grangemouth didn’t die of old age.
