Without transformational change, our food and water systems are on course for catastrophic failure from 2030.
I am deeply disappointed that the PM did not commit to publishing the reports in full.
Most people are exhausted by political division — but they don't know they're the majority. #Conflict gets in the way of addressing climate, and climate accelerates conflict. Could #peace-building be the hidden catalyst for #climate action?

While Westminster obsesses over by-elections and leadership contests, an official report warns that within years our food and water systems could fail. I’ve forced Govt to acknowledge a suppressed report on ecosystem collapse. But Ministers still aren’t facing the scale of the crisis.
The time has come to vote for the California you want.
A California with homes you can afford.
A California with lower electric bills.
A California with free childcare.
A California where polluters pay.
A California where we tax corporations and billionaires
The question is: do you want a California that works for corporations, or for Californians?
The California we want is possible. We just have to vote for it.
Polls close at 8pm.
Last year, $34 MILLION dollars was poured into California politics. And when that happens... you can expect a messy, diluted batch of policy that doesn't look the same (let alone taste the same) just because of oil money!
See if your rep takes oil money:

NEW POLL: California, we have the momentum. Now, let's bring it home. My opponents are a MAGA extremist and a career politician backed by a deep roster of corporations and billionaires.
I'm running to take on special interests and lower costs for working people — and that's why corporations have spent a record $53 million to try and stop me.
Vote by June 2.
The latest numbers validate what we’re seeing on the ground: This race is close, and we have momentum.
The corporate interests ripping you off know it, too — and that’s why they’re spending tens of millions to stop us.
Don't let them. Vote by June 2 to bring it home.
You read that headline right.
Mr. Tax Avoidance himself, Jeff Bezos, wants to eliminate taxes for the bottom half of earners.
We don't say it often, but we agree with Mr. Bezos here and the good news is we already have a plan. ⬇️https://t.co/uiRbcKZdj2
Judge me by my enemies. Corporations like Chevron, PG&E, and Meta are spending nearly $50 million against me—and only me—because I'm the only candidate who will take on the corporate interests ripping off working people and families.
Game on.
San Francisco! We are doing a Get Out the Vote rally on May 30th and would love to see you there.
A better California is possible if we vote for it.

This race has come down to 3 candidates for 2 spots. My opponents are a MAGA extremist and a career politician funded by Chevron and Meta.
I’m the only one who will take on corporations to drive down costs.
Packed house at IATSE Local 80 tonight. Two weeks until California decides: the billionaire who fights for working people, or the career politician who fights for billionaires. They're spending tens of millions against me because I'll take them on, raise their taxes, and build a California that works for you — not corporations.

I made very very clear that there has to be a very strong quid pro quo for any potential Green promise to not throw the kitchen sink at the Makerfield by-election (let alone to not stand at that byelection). And I made clear the unique stakes; a Burnham victory couid get rid of Starmer, change the voting system >and< play a central role in stopping Reform. That is a strong enough set of outcomes that negotiating with him now has to be worthwhile.

UPTE-CWA’s commitment to fairness, equity, and public service reflects the values that guide my campaign.
I look forward to partnering with them to build a state grounded in opportunity, inclusion, and shared prosperity.
@UPTECWA
.@TomSteyer to @XavierBecerra: You went and talked to the largest lobbying group against single payer health care in the state of California. The next day, the head of that group said you very clearly indicated you were against single payer.
Then they endorsed you and they gave you the maximum amount of money that they can give a candidate.
So are they lying? They clearly gave you the money. They clearly gave you the endorsement. And they clearly stated that’s what you said.
