@Sam_Alexandra23 The mantis 60mm 7 Artisans macro on 26mm of tubes. The other three were from last week and I used a 70mm Sigma Art macro on 26mm of tubes. The mantis was shot with a Sony a7ii and the rest on a a7R iii.

@JohnGetchel Yes! Almost any old lens you have laying around and a reverse mount ring and you’ve got an impressive macro lens.

@JohnGetchel I’d say it’s 2:1. You have to get real close with this setup. I’d get some tubes for your 100mm. You’ll love what they do for your macro work. And they are pretty cheap. $20-$25, USD. Plus, they’ll turn most of your other lenses in to macro lenses, even if they are not.

@JohnGetchel A cheap 7 artisans 60mm macro sitting on 26mm of macro tubes. It’s a great lens and it comes in under 200 bucks!
