@donmcgowan It won't stop though. Starmer is now challenging the likes of Musk and Bezos, telling them they can't act with impunity, so we can expect an avalanche of conspiracy theories and worse in an attempt to undermine him.
@MerrynSW Mostly? The tech workers I know are paid via umbrella companies. Or they are directors of their own companies. Same for highly paid media people. They deduct everything. PAYE is seen as a mug's game.
@b_z_p1@Ferretgrove@SkyNews@robpowellnews It's amazing that the last Tory government managed to stay in power, despite everything that Johnson, Truss and Sunak did, until they were ousted by the electorate. But apparently a Labour government with a huge majority should give up and go home because they are a bit unpopular
@ceceswifts I would have loved to see their paso again. And doing their AT would have given them a chance to correct the lift. But JB has been pushed by the show for the wholesome story arc or something, completely ignoring the fact that viewers have consistently voted for Sarah for weeks.
@ceceswifts They don't seem that keen on Sarah for some reason. Red lighting is never a good sign. And I don't remember her talking about her age but Shirley keeps mentioning it. Rude!
@ceceswifts I get what he means but spent some time afterwards wondering how long a fireball can last when encased in ice. Sarah gets him too but played it for laughs. Great telly again. They are never on with Janette, are they? ๐
@thatginamiller@AngelaRayner@PippaCrerar@BigIssue Ending RTB won't make much difference, only about 15,000 sold a year. Social housing providers need investment/support to refurbish properties. Developers build affordable housing but housing associations can't afford to take them on. Council flats are empty for the same reason.
Strictly's at Blackpool once again. Here's a reminder of a perfect 40 routine - Ali Bastian & Brian Fortuna's VW to Etta James. Classic, understated, beautiful. Best wishes especially to Ali and her family x @bbcstrictly#StrictlyComeDancing@BrianFortuna https://t.co/9hXSxxb0nz
@Philsbodydouble@peterjukes It was mentioned at the start when Reeves was pointing the finger at the Tories - 'Their Brexit deal harmed British businesses'. Significant perhaps to hear a criticism rather than the 'we will make Brexit work' mantra.
