It’s hard to believe we are coming to a close on our 3rd season coaching this Mac N Seitz team. What a blessing it has been to have this group of players, parents and grandparents supporting our mission. Watching each one of these young women grow mentally and physically on and off the field has been special.

A team name change can be tough when you feel like you’re a part of something WE all built together. But in life we know doors often close so new opportunities can present themselves.

As coaches that played the game at the collegiate level and received our education thru athletic scholarships, we couldn’t be more excited about what’s happening in Women’s sports right here in Kansas City (especially in the softball community). The KC Diamonds is another milestone that proves young female athletes can dream big and chase their passion if desired.

We are excited to lead the way as the first National team to represent the KC Jr Diamonds, and look forward to mentorship and development opportunities with the KC Diamonds professional players. @thekcdiamonds @strictlysoftbal

Pool play game 4 victory in walk-off fashion, 7-6, over Hotshots premier 27/28.

Ellsworth (2028) drove in four runners in the win. The second baseman went 2-2 on the day.

A sacrifice fly by Ellsworth (2028) put Mac N Seitz 2010 on the board in the bottom of the first.

Warford (2028) hit a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the fourth.

Ellsworth (2028) earned the win.

MNS accumulated eight hits in the game. Unruh (2029) and Ellsworth (2028) were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits. MNS were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.

Team effort rally with a 9-8 walk-off victory over Tulsa elite 27/28 in game 3 of pool play despite trailing 2-8 in the third. The game was tied at eight in the bottom of the fourth when Unruh (2029) tripled, scoring one run.

MNS made the score 8-6 in the bottom of the third inning when Unruh (2029) hit a solo home run to left field, Olberding (2028) singled, scoring one run, and Eva Stewart (2030) tripled, scoring two runs.

We jumped into the lead in the bottom of the fourth when Schoening (2029) homered to left field, scoring two runs, and Unruh (2029) tripled, scoring one run.

Mac N Seitz 2010 amassed 10 hits in the game. Olberding (2028), Unruh (2029), Schroer (2029), and Ellsworth (2028) each collected two hits. Olberding (2028), Unruh (2029), and Schoening (2029) each drove in two runs. @TulsaElite
