I have been working at Appliance Park for over 20 years and it's clear how things have changed for the worst. I am trapped in a wheel and I am depressed. GE at one point was the place to work in Louisville, now it's a modern day sweatshop. Broken down in many ways. Bullshit.

We reported to the news and wrote the mayor today. B/c this is one of multiple instances where they dropped the ball. It is just embarrassing and we will hold them accountable for the safety of employees.

The security at Ge appliance park is a joke..... There was a possible threat at work today and not one line shutdown.. .. no updates from bosses.. Just ran through the whole time with total disregard for safety and info. Bunch of rent a cops with no training.. very embarrassing

@Brohmtime Yes it is likely I am told. I work in building 2 out there and they were asking for strike captains last week. I volunteered because we knew it was likely to come and have been prepping

Our contract has no upfront money for most & leaves out our highest paying workers pay the nits. No retirement additions at all. . .. what is ge doing????? All this money we are making them and can't bring a real contract to us is disrespect.

At work freezing to death thinking about the latest contract offer at GE. After talking to my girlfriend and coworkers. .. it is a big NO for me. Seems like they are trying to bribe us with a small bonus? It's time to stand together and demand better for once.. Tired of it tbh.

We go back to the negotiating table on January 6 according to a leaflet distributed by local 761. I don't expect Ge to do much better on their next contract offer. I encourage everyone to vote no on this one also. I know I am.
