If Max Scherzer's daughter ran out there to get him he would probably start yelling at her to get off the field.

Stephen A. Smith: The VP told you to keep his wife's name out of your mouth.

El-Sayed: Do you remember who brought wives into the whole thing? That was Donald Trump. After I was nominated, he tweeted a picture of him and his wife and me and my wife trying to draw attention to the idea that somehow my wife is less American than his wife. My wife was born here and his wife wasn't. If you don't want to talk about our wives, maybe you should talk to your boss about how he brought spouses into it.

10 Years of Service Time: the Holy Grail for Players. Throughout history, fewer than 10% of Players have possessed the combination of talent, health, resilience, perseverance and good fortune to achieve the feat. This August, Max Muncy officially reached 10 Years of Service Time!

Muncy made his major league debut in 2015 with the Oakland Athletics before signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2017. The Texas native is a three-time All-Star and a three-time World Series champion and has slugged over 200 home runs while posting a career .831 OPS in more than 1,100 games. Congrats on reaching 10 Years in the bigs, Max!

The Max Muncy matrix glitch is crazy!

👉 both named Maxwell Muncy
👉 both born on August 25 (12 years apart)
👉 both drafted by the Oakland Athletics
👉 both playing primarily third base
elder grew up near Midland, TX and went on to play in Los Angeles
👉 younger grew up in Los Angeles and played minor league ball in Midland
👉when they first faced off in the majors, both started at third base and batted seventh

Happy Birthday to both Max Muncys! 🎂

[Los Angeles Dodgers @Dodgers]

Happy birthday, Max!

NEW: Major League Baseball owners now get paid more to have a losing team.

We investigated the playbook that allows teams like the Marlins and Pirates to rake in the largest sums of cash while paying players the least.

Billionaires win no matter what, while fans lose out.

American sororities must be more hierarchal than a Bronze Age civilization. You can clearly tell which girls are “more important” in this video

[Sam Block @theblockspot]

He won’t get in.
He won’t even be close.

But Max Muncy should be firmly in the Hall of Fame conversation.

I don’t care what anyone says.

Before the ‘25 season, Rob Manfred met with Trump. The reporting from that was Manfred would continue to do whatever Trump wanted (ie. unbanning Pete Rose) in exchange for protection from immigration policies disrupting MLB business

This is why you don’t bargain with fascists

When whites do it, its alright but when you ask him about Dodger fans he'll start praising ICE
