Lol 😂 A freakish phenomenon among Chinese women influenced by contemporary feminism. There are already vast numbers of women like this in China; it’s nothing new.
@ElTrumpista Many women are like that—whatever is in vogue in society, they tend to follow suit. This is a result of evolution; women have always played a dependent role in human society.
Golden Retrievers and Pit Bulls also share 99.9 per cent genetic similarity—even higher than that between humans. Why is one docile and the other violent? This is a clear example of how genes determine aggression.
Do you really think a 0.01 per cent difference is insignificant? This is a prime example.
Bonobos and chimpanzees share 99.6 per cent genetic similarity. Yet they have been classified as two distinct species. Bonobos are gentle, whilst chimpanzees are violent. A difference of 0.04 per cent has already resulted in distinct species, so at what percentage do you consider a genetic difference to be significant?
If you wish to use data to intimidate people, you’d be better off seeking out those in real life who cannot refute your arguments.
One of the most important (and overlooked) scenes in the Odyssey is the encounter with the Lotus-eaters.
After nine days at sea, Odysseus and his men finally reach dry land. They go ashore to collect water, and Odysseus sends three men to go explore.
When his men don't return, Odysseus begins to worry.
The men had met some of the islanders (the Lotus-eaters), "who did them no hurt, but gave them to eat of the lotus, which was so delicious that those who ate of it left off caring about home, and did not even want to go back".
Odysseus ends up having to drag his men back to the ships and quickly sail away.
One must understand the symbolic power of the lotus. Its danger is not in any physical threat. The lotus is so deadly because it overloads you with pleasure, taking away all sense of urgency.
In this state of pleasure and relaxation, you forget your mission and your purpose. The men who ate the lotus flowers completely forgot about everything of value in their lives: their homes, their families, etc.
It's easy to think the monsters and beasts are the most terrifying threats you face. But because they're so obviously dangerous and remind you that death is a real possibility, they alert you to the value of life, and remind you of why you're fighting. But the real danger is a life so comfortable that you forget what you were trying to do in the first place.
Statistically speaking, it's unlikely you'll ever go to war or die of famine. But it is certainly possible that an addiction to your phone will derail you from your mission. Abundance of food and entertainment is far more likely to destroy you than most physical threats.
Yes, you will encounter plenty of Sirens and Cyclopes in life. But the real threat, which you must fend off every single day, is that of the lotus flower: a delicious indulgence that brings you immediate satisfaction, and makes you forget what you were fighting for.
@JoeyMannarino This is a tactic they use to win votes; they have deceived those “useful idiots.” They are not materialists, nor do they have the slightest understanding of Marxist theory; they are unaware of basic socialist concepts such as the superstructure and dialectics.
@SpeakerJohnson Immigrants and their descendants within five generations may not hold government positions, military posts, or judicial offices.
Only then you can avoid being infiltrated and overthrow.
They have been so well protected that they are unaware of the existence of evil in the world, and the guise of Islam has lulled them into complacency. Furthermore, while many of them appear to be highly educated, they are capable only of linear thinking and cannot draw abstract conclusions. Watching their reaction after the results came out was like seeing students being praised by their teachers for getting the right answers on a test.
@FoxNews It seems like a clever idea, but they’ll just end up selling these agricultural products to the Iranians to raise cash.
This will actually turn into a sad story.
@BillAckman Anyone who invests in this will receive a generous contract from US government; otherwise, it doesn’t make sense.
Who would take on a high-risk venture with no return?
