CJI Surya Kant is giving bangers after bangers.

Kerala HC asked Cooperative Banks (Manathnawady Co-operative Urban Society Ltd and Thirunelly Service Cooperative Bank Ltd) in Kerala to return the deposits to the Thirunelli Temple Devaswom which they had to refused.

Instead of complying with the order, they went to SC. And that was a big mistake.

CJI Surya Kant: Temple money belongs to the deity. This money has to be saved, protected and utilised only for the interests of the temple. It can't become a source of income or survival for a cooperative bank. The bench further said that temple money should be deposited in a healthy nationalised bank, which can give maximum interest to the temple.
