Several hours into the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting at Ramstein, Germany has yet to decide whether to send Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine. "We are not hesitant, we are careful," new defense minister Boris Pistorius told reporters. Decision to be made "very soon."

Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting at Ramstein Air Base is now behind closed doors. Discussions on how to support Ukraine expected to last most of the afternoon. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said his country needs tanks, F-16s and long-range missiles to stop Russia.

U.S. Air Forces in Europe confirmed Thurs. an F-35A assigned to Hill AFB, Utah, & currently deployed to Spangdahlem AB, Germany, landed at Lask AB, Poland, Wed. due to an in-flight emergency. No injuries or damage were reported. No word on what the issue was.
