@dhilowitz@ernstae I'd love to port EMISYNTH to Decent Sampler, it's mostly about programming UI, having a monophonic mode and an ability to switch samples on the fly, because one of the main ideas is to make a sound that you like and then toss synths around to check how it would sound then.
Composer/sound designer Volodymyr Savin spent 7 years recording abandoned pianos in Pripyat (near Chernobyl) and then created this amazing virtual instrument from them. I had the chance to talk with him about it years ago. So thrilled to see story live:

Let's support our fellow composers/sound designers in Kyiv - 100% of proceeds going to the Ukrainian Army. Vlad has already picked up a rifle and joined the fight. Amazingly brave.

@samsheffer Russia is preparing terrorist attack in Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and to blame Ukrainians (We don’t have any access to CNPP from Feb 24, station personnel is taken as hostages) - https://t.co/0mcdmmKn1M
Check out my latest video taking a look at EMISYNTH from @strixinstrument . It is an incredible collection of Soviet Era children's synthesizers. 100% of sales go to support Ukraine.

I reviewed @strixinstrument Pripyat Pianos back in June of 2021. All sales proceeds go to support the people of Ukraine. You can watch the entire replay here:

Hey! I had an amazing, and really moving conversation with @Dargalon about his years-long project recording the abandoned pianos in Pripyat for @strixinstrument samples. Can’t wait to share it
