SIGGRAPH 2026: ARM Moving Mobile Graphics slides are public!
Includes my presentation:
Reducing graphics API complexity: A clean slate API design for modern hardware

My favorite paper from SIGGRAPH this year was "Taming Optimization Variance in Compact Neural Shading Networks" by Bitterli et al; I think this paper will be seen as a really influential paper over the next several years.

⚪🤖 JUDERO IS PEAK!!
We haven't actually finished yet but already this is so good! Surprising and sincere 💛 If you love indies that explore the Human Experience™ , this one's got you covered, wrapped in passionately crafted visuals and beautiful music!
see y'all next time~!
Excited to share about "Gradient Traversal" at SIGGRAPH Asia 2024 as our submission with @haradatakahiro was accepted! Happy to demonstrate and discuss our method which can have a significant impact on industrial, medical, and research by accelerating queries from unstructured fields for both human and machine observers.
volk 1.3.295 is out! This has a few new extensions, notably new VK_KHR_pipeline_binary for people who want to roll their own caches, a few slightly older ones, and a couple macOS loader fixes.

Note: volk is *always* up to date - it always has support for latest extensions within a day of spec updates. Also it's tagged with each SDK, but I also periodically release a numbered version on GitHub for people who like releases :)
Star the project if you haven't yet!
🚨 Final Call: HPG 2024 Student Competition deadline is tomorrow! Write and submit your creative shadertoy, the best two win a Meta Quest 3 or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GPU!

I will give a talk at #SIGGRAPH2024 about a new way of evaluating #Bezier#curves that I call Seiler's Interpolation, using half the linear interpolations of #deCasteljau's algorithm. I built an interactive demo: https://t.co/cvi2Q6YwS8
See the extended abstract for the details.
