This account @AramaicWire does not represent Chaldean Catholics or Iraqi Christians in any way. The whole point of @AramaicWire account is to harass Chaldean Christians by repeatedly posting videos and pictures of Chaldeans while referring to them as “Assyrians,” something the account holder knows ethnic Chaldeans object to. Even going as far as repeatedly posting videos of the Chaldean Patriarch while calling him an “Assyrian.” While it is well known that the Chaldean Patriarch refers to himself as an ethnic Chaldean.

It’s a form of ethnic cleansing, attempting to eliminate the ethnic Chaldean identity by spreading false information about the group. And it is very sad that some people have nothing to do with their time but to harass communities who have already faced genocide.

If anyone has information on who is specifically behind the account please let us know as the Chaldean community is considering legal action.
