@PoderDoSol His expression shifts from apprehension to excitement.
"Ah, I knew you were a real pal!" He wasn't sure honestly. "Of course! Anythin', you know I'm good for it!"
He extends a hand and then instead pulls Roberto into a a back-crushing hug. "You won't regret this!"
*Knock knock*
Guido stood outside @PoderDoSol's office door, his oversized frame casting a shadow in the hallway of the Da Costa International headquarters in New York City. He straightened his tie nervously, his mind racing with thoughts of the proposal he was about to present.
@PoderDoSol "Ya see, the cash flow ain't so good right now, but- well, you're a guy with a lotta money, and I'm-"
He sighed. He was screwing up the pitch that he'd rehearsed in his head a thousand times.
"I want to buy it back, Bobby."
@PoderDoSol Guido chuckled nervously, running a hand through the few bits of hair that curled from his head. "Well, you could say that," he admitted. "I've got a proposition for you, Bobby. It's about the old X-Factor Investigations property."
He turned to his companion, his expression dead serious. โYou never once invited me here while it was open.โ He harrumphed, folding his arms across his chest.
โYet here I am, as usual, ready to lend a helping hand. And whadya mean you werenโt sure Iโd come??โ
His broad shoulders filled the doorway as he surveyed the weathered faรงade. The faded sign swung slightly in the breeze, bearing the name "๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฏ" in fading letters.
The sunlight barely filtered through the grime-coated windows, partially illuminating the forgotten corners of the bar.
โWhat do I think?โ He trailed off. His eyes surveyed the bar. โI think itโs a damn shame you let this place go to hell. And worse!โ
Apparently his old pal used to run a pretty popular bar and nightclub. "Can't believe I never even got an invite to this place ..."
Though judging from the outside, its best days were behind it.
"Huh, so this is the place?"

The loud, obnoxious knocking is sure to get the attention of @JulioxRictor, who he's agreed to help out for a couple of days on one very important condition.
"There better be beer ..."
