Joby is partnering with @travisk’s Atoms to build America's vertiport network.

Today, Joby and Atoms announced a definitive agreement to develop next-generation transportation hubs where electric air taxis, autonomous ground vehicles, and ridesharing converge, anchored by GEACS, our open-source Global Electric Aviation Charging System.

The work starts in Florida, New York, and Texas, the markets where Joby is preparing to launch early operations under the White House-backed eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP), as well as California.

يشكل إنجاز أول محطة للتاكسي الجوي في #دبي نقلة استراتيجية في مسيرة الإمارة نحو ريادة مستقبل التنقّل الحضري، وتجسيداً عملياً لرؤية صاحب السموّ الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله، في ترسيخ مكانة دبي مدينةً عالميةً للابتكار وتبنّي الحلول المستقبلية.

وتتكون المحطة، التي نُفذت وفقاً لأعلى معايير السلامة الدولية، من مبنى بارتفاع أربعة طوابق على مساحة 3100 متر مربع، ومواقف للسيارات من طابقين�� ومنصتين لإقلاع وهبوط التاكسي الجوي، ومعدات لشحن مركباته، ومرافق مكيفة لاستقبال الركاب وتقديم الخدمة لنحو 170 ألف راكب في العام الواحد.
