Eric served over 21 years in the military, on his fourth deployment to Afghanistan, he was severely wounded by a rocket-propelled gr£nade in an ambush, suffering brain and spinal injuries, but fought on for five hours, saving several teammates' lives.
He rehabilitated and fought to stay on active duty. On November 27, 2018, at age 39, he was KIA when an improvised expl0sive device struck his vehicle during combat operations in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan, as part of Operation Freedom's Sentinel. Rest easy Hero 🇺🇸
