So I made a comment on the other post and I dont know if it was just a different color choice but this to me looks drastically better. I think the reddish orange in org and surrounding area could be cranked up a bit but the contrast and colors schemes around the blues greens and purples feel so much more vibrant.
Even the orcs dont look like a faded green-Grey. The have that green that stands out, I like this a lot more. 1000/10 imo! Awesome job!
What if World of Warcraft updated its graphics to look like this -
Would you play again or would the updated look make the game feel too far strayed from its roots?
@TheRealWizar The modeling looks great the color scheme makes me sad. I dont know why we have to strip out all of the color and make everything look faded/Grey.
Even lush greens look washed out. The graphical update is cool and I love it, the color palette not so much.
Id say as long as it doesnt intrinsically provide in game buffs I guess thats where I kinda draw the line.
Buy to play + cosmetics is my favorite it generally adds the most balance of money spent + no forced feeling of gotta play.
Like the WoW sub makes me feel like I have to play it because Im paying for time. Value of play > amount of money paid.
I cant count the number of times i'll sub have a personal matter come up cancel and then have only played like a week.
Hey did want to just bring this up where a champion like Azir that uses his soldiers to last hit more than his base autos its a very weird feeling.
Not saying good or bad was just curious if you guys have considered dynamic bars based on champion damage types including abilities.
@Aedrareforged The fact that WoW has nothing in common with WoW is... well, quite incredible, really, but it's true.
Forced updates are not always a good thing.
@Tsukikira51@GIshayu@Pirat_Nation I stand corrected if its true that judges have upheld those scummy license nonsense I haven't looked into it but I would still push that you dont purchase from companies that have those practices! Appreciate the call out and insight!
@ffswdfcsd@GIshayu@Pirat_Nation Well ya and thats how we got to the position we are in today. We own nothing and companies can kill the games you buy with the flip of a switch. Had we been more diligent/caring years ago we likely wouldn't even need SKG.
Sure i dont know if you'd win or lose but my opinion is still if company screws you over dont buy/support them. Companies should be transparent about what you're getting and information should be in simple common language of the country.
Though to me the fact that people will legit complain about games being canceled while spending hundreds of dollars on other games from the same company makes zero sense.
Mad that The Crew got killed by ubisoft? Dont buy assassins creed. Dont by rainbow six games and so on. People will literally go "I cant believe they killed the crew everyone support SKG!!!!! Oh the new Assassins Creed, Rainbow Six or Tom Clancy is out lemme get that!"
If you wonder why companies dont care? They have no reason to care if people continue to buy from them.
Ya I think thats deplorable I absolutely think EULAs and other purchasing agreements MUST be presented prior to purchase and in common comprehensible language and that should be common law everywhere.
I've honestly been using AI to translate shit prior to purchase so I can make a more informed decision. It's not perfect and shouldn't be the case but hey do what you gotta do.
@FroGG2@GIshayu@Pirat_Nation I mean thats an awesome law. Tragically not the law everywhere which is why my opinion is we who aren't protected like that should push for protections like that AND not buy games from companies with those bad policies in the mean time.
The long and short of it is people skip over reading the EULAs and they shouldn't but hey they can do as they see fit but that doesn't excuse scummy practices. Stop buying games from those companies.
Legislation isnt fast its insanely slow and it can take years to be implemented sometimes. Stop buying games from those companies.
The fastest way to get results is to stop buying from companies that practice these policies. Also stop buying games from those companies.
Looking back there isnt much we can do and SKG has stated that all games created prior to the proposed consumer rights will be grandfathered in which means we are all screwed on the older games and that sucks.
STOP BUYING GAMES FROM COMPANIES THAT WILL TAKE YOUR GAMES AWAY FROM YOU!
My answer would be dont buy the games.
Legislation will only go so far companies have armies of lawyers doing everything they can to find ways out of almost any issue. The only thing that company cannot squirm its way around is us not opening our wallets.
Stop buying bad EULAs doesn't mean SKG needs to go away and shouldn't keep pushing forward but lets say nothing gets put in for 5 years do we just buy bad games for 5 more years? Absolutely not! We should stop buying those bad EULAs force companies to make changes because it hits their bottom line.
To be honest we have no one to blame but ourselves. We as an end user allowed this to happen by purchasing games with atrocious EULAs. It didnt happen overnight its been getting worse over time.
If you want to make a change quickly read the EULA for a game and if its a license dont buy it. Companies would much rather fight this shit in court than take a hit to their bottom line. So it would honestly be faster if we just stopped buying the games with bad EULAs.
