My mom also dealt with really bad endometriosis for several decades and had a hysterectomy and even that didn't fix it. She even still dealt with spotting after it was removed. And of course dealing with abusive parents meant her pain wasn't taken seriously growing up.

She once collapsed on stage due to the pain and had to have a partial hysterectomy in her early 30s because of the condition. Marilyn Monroe also had severe endometriosis and it was one of the things that contributed to making her life hell. Cyndi Lauper, Whoopi Goldberg too. It’s not new. I hope we find a cure in my lifetime.

tbh i always thought these were two different things. to me fwb is a clearly defined sexual dynamic between two friends where you both know you don’t want to be in a relationship with each other, while a situationship is a dynamic between two people who fuck when it’s convenient for both of them but haven’t defined what their relationship is, one could have stronger feelings while the other doesn’t, & they never really communicate their feelings, they just keep fucking and hope for the best 🤷🏽‍♀️
