Here it is, my most ambitious self-made project: One Design
I kept needing small design jobs done, like compressing images, cropping for every social size, or turning a logo into an icon pack. Half weren't worth firing up Figma, Photoshop or Canva for.
So they lived in a dozen bookmarks. Some vanished, some looked ugly as shit (looking at you, compresspng), and lots wanted their own subscription. In the end I built my own, all in one place and running in your browser.
19 tools so far and more are cooking.
Most are free, no account needed. Pro adds the rest, plus bigger batches and a Brand Library and your files never leave your device.
It's in open beta, so every Pro tool is yours to try for now. And the first 100 lifetime supporters get a little founder thank-you.
Been shipping in code at work lately. Noticed that "design engineer" isn't just a skill you bolt onto a design role. It needs its own time and space, or it's just extra work stacked on top of the job you already have
Zooming in on this "Ask Gemini" pill: full stadium radius sitting inside a container with a much tighter corner radius. Nested corners are supposed to scale together. When they don't, it just feels like two different design systems glued together
@andilosing That's a wild list for one year π Curious how much time X actually takes in your daily routine to pull that off. I'm just starting (posting, not job quitting, just yet)
Just noticed @granola transcripts now label who's speaking. That's the kind of detail that turns "here's a transcript" into "here's what actually happened in the room." Love it
