JUST IN: "NIGERIA 🇳🇬 GEO-POLITICAL ZONE BILL 2026
[1] As of October 1 2026, Nigeria’s six geo-political zones will become official and constitutional organs of government. This means that there will be four tiers of administration in Nigeria - Federal, Zonal, State and Local governments
[2] Nigeria will have six geo-political zones, with each being made up of seven states. Our constitution will prohibit the creation of any more states after these 42

We shall gradually migrate towards this to achieve our targeted goal by 2040
[4] Geopolitical zones will be responsible for maintaining regional police forces to augment the activities of the Nigerian Police Force
[5] Each geopolitical zone will be constitutionally obliged to generate, distribute and transmit electricity within its domain
[6] Every year, the chairman of the geopolitical zone will rotate among the six governors within it. A chief executive will be appointed to manage what will be a civil service structure
[7] Ultimate authority for the governing of each geo-political zone rests with the committee of governors. There will also be committees of commissioners to deal with matters such as education, health, housing, transport, security, etc

We are confident that Ogun East, in unity with the rest of the state, will deliver Senator @AdeolaYAYI as the next Governor of Ogun State. In the same spirit, we will also secure overwhelming support for @officialABAT, GCFR.
@Laycon30BG@SegunShowunmi@AboloreBoge@officialABAT Did Obasanjo respect Late Awolowo when he was alive? And did Obasanjo respect anyone when he was in power?
Anyway, those of us who can read President Tinubu’s mind know he is doing this not to preempt his action against Obasanjo in or before 2027.
BREAKING NEWS: The influx of Ibos in Ibadan “ Oyo state” and Ogun state is Alarming and concerning
The number of Ibo people now arriving in these two states daily has become a Pandemic.
The heebos denigrate Yorubas online but rush down to their land through night buses daily
Our aviation vision for Ogun State goes beyond the commissioning of the Gateway International Airport. During his official visit on Saturday, President @officialABAT will also unveil Gateway Air, our new state airline, which will commence operations with two newly acquired aircraft to be managed by ValueJet, alongside the Cargo Facility. This marks another bold step in positioning Ogun State as a key destination for aviation, logistics, and investment.

Host: What do you say to people who says you have been preaching corruption-free society, but at the same time, in the same breath, dining with corrupt individuals?
Peter Obi: When Jesus came here, his friends were tax collectors and prostitutes...

@OshidipeO@RealQueenBee__@fkeyamo Brother, don’t mind awon Yibo, awon omo Alainiran. Their utterances will soon land them where their “Show me the Law leader”is.
@fkeyamo Happy birthday to our distinguished minister. The man who is working hard to making Nigeria first of contact (Airports) beautiful and welcoming.
I wish you a long life and more success in good health. 🎁
Don't you just feel like crying when you listen to speeches like this one attached?
Why have we become so very careless in Yoruba land?
The British founded the country called Nigeria on ETHNICITY.
The River Niger and River Benue conspired with the British and made it a lot easier for them to divide the land into three parts.
Our people were not consulted.
The Okun, Igbomina and some Ekiti people were not consulted before they got thrown into the Northern Region.
The British simply used Revd Johnson and Bishop Ajayi Crowther, two men they had suitably programmed over decades in Sierra Leone, to get at the then Alaafin Ladigbolu.
The British got to the Fulanis who they had earlier raised from Futa Jalon and planted in Sokoto. From Sokoto they got to the Sultan who called his brother Emir of Kano.
They got to Efik land, massaged the ego of the Obong of Calabar, a man whose ancestors had dreamt of sleeping with Queen of England. It must be a great honour for him to be invited to such a meeting.
They got to Èkó and picked one White Cap Chief. They had already conquered Èkó some decades earlier.
They gathered these men in Zungeru in today's Niger State where the Ibos, another British project developed in Fernando Po and planted in the South-East, were already in the houses of the Europeans working as servants, men like Obed Edom Azikiwe and the father of Louis Ojukwu.
Those FIVE (5) MEN signed off over 300 Ethnic groups into what is called Nigeria today!!!!
Nobody else knew about it.
The Ijebus, Ijesas, Ondo, Ọ̀wọ̀ and even the Egba people who were earlier deceived into the talks of independence, all didn't know what was going on.
From DAY ONE, the Yoruba people were already in danger in Nigeria but our leaders of those days didn't wake up early to the dangers.
The scramble for survival started immediately, since way back 1914 and possibly before then, since the British landed.
Thank God for men like Chief Obafemi Awolowo Ọ̀dọ́lé Ilé-ifè who rose to the challenge quickly in the 1940s.
It took the rude awakening of Samuel Akintola's 1965 campaigns and his eventual assassination for our people to be jolted to reality.
There is the JIHADIST AND ZIONIST plots playing out in Nigeria since 1914.
Nigeria is founded fraudulently.
She runs on a dubious foundation.
She operates an iniquitous Federal Constitution.
You don't stay in such a system and be talking about "Nationalism", it is foolish.
What you do in such a system is SELF-PRESERVATION and that is what every ethnicity in Nigeria practices.
YOU PROTECT AND THINK OF YOURSELF FIRST AND ALWAYS.
ONLY the Yoruba people are liberal and forming civilized
And we are paying the prices bitterly.
We risk the well-being of Yoruba people and jeopardise the future of our children.
And you know what I found out recently?
I hear that in AFENIFERE, the Apex Socio-cultural Body of the Yoruba people, the leadership is so hopelessly compromised that they can't successfully debate on any matter of SELF-PRESERVATION on behalf of Yoruba people.
I hear that such simple matter of defending the interests of our artisans who are into such things as ASỌ-ÒKÈ, ÀDÌRẸ etc by invoking registration of patents and such other things, that the LEADERSHIP OF AFENIFERE is unable to get round it.
You know why?
Many of the leaders of Afenifere are either half-Ibos, with Ibo wives or have children/children who are extensively involved with the Ibo Zionists.
Many of them are lawyers whose existence depended on patronage from the Ibo Lekki Associates.
So they look on as Ibo Zionist traders and their Chinese Associates are destroying the Aso-Oke and Adire business of our people and running those poor people out of business. These are not just ordinary trades of our people, they are CULTURAL IDENTITIES.../
@engrICO2015 Most of you guys from the Southeast were born Narcissists. You lied so much to manipulate people. However, you can only fool some people but you can’t fool all the people at the same time.
So, you want us to believe Ojukwu who lead the Igbos to a slaughter house and ran away?
Protesters in Mexico City have burned an effigy of US President Donald Trump to denounce the US attack on Venezuela and abduction of President Nicolas Maduro.
• The central bank has mopped up all previous loose money within one year.
• Stabilized exchange rate.
• We have pulled back from the brink of total economic collapse.
• Inflation is coming down from a very high level of few years ago.
• We have built up reserves of over $40 billion.
• The economy has grown first quarter by more than 3%, second quarter by more than 4%.
• ….and this is the first time in a long time that this economy has grown than the population.
The Emir of Kano, His Highness, Muhammad Sanusi II, has nothing but high praises for President Tinubu lead renewed hope administration.
I urge citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria not to abuse the freedom of speech guaranteed in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1999) as amended, by making inflammatory comments about the situation in our neighbour and brother nation, the Republic of Benin, and adding Nigeria to their unguarded statements.
It makes great sense to exercise caution when dealing with forces and situations we do not fully understand.
There is no country on Earth where it is legal to publicly call for a change of government, except by democratic means. Such remarks are not freedom of speech. They are treasonous. Do not abuse such freedoms and then cry wolf when your chickens come home to roost.
Flippant, unpatriotic utterances on social media may have real-life consequences. Think twice before attempting to trend with words that bend the law.
Stability in Nigeria has resulted in a $46.7 billion foreign reserve, the fourth-highest on the African continent. It has also led to a 3.93% GDP growth in the immediate past quarter and 4.23% growth in the quarter before that (Q2, 2025).
Furthermore, inflation has been tamed and is now at 16.05%, even as President Bola Tinubu has equally expanded Nigeria's GDP by $67 billion in just two years, moving us from a ₦269.29 trillion economy on May 29, 2023, when Asiwaju became President, to ₦372.8 trillion today.
There is no state in Nigeria, including your state, that is not currently receiving at least twice the federal allocation it previously got before May 29, 2023.
Nigeria's trade surplus has risen from ₦1.2 trillion in 2022 to ₦6.9 trillion in 2024, and our currency, the Naira, has been ranked among the ten best currencies in Africa by https://t.co/NNwW12l4bV and Trading Economics.
And our government has achieved the noteworthy feat of increasing our national prestige by securing the upgrading of Nigeria's passport from the 97th strongest in the world in 2023 to the 88th most powerful passport on Earth today, according to the latest Henley Passport Index.
All of these feats were achieved due to political stability in Nigeria, which benefits you and your friends and family.
As such, I urge all Nigerian citizens to allow our government to respond to the developments in the Republic of Benin and to call themselves to order in their public statements regarding the democratically elected governments of Nigeria and its neighbours.
