My favourite part of the trip was talking to all of the stem specialists and getting to know what their jobs are. I learned that so many jobs involve science and it is a great asset to many careers.
Last week all @thomasofaquins S2 pupils visited the National Museum of Scotland for the @EdSciFest Careers Hive event. This thread gives some of their feedback with some photos of the day.
My favourite part was the keyhole surgery station in the main hall. I learned new things about different careers that I didn’t know existed. I found it very useful to talk to STEM experts because we could ask them questions about what their jobs mean on a day to day basis.

Recently, we have been sent details of Modern Apprenticeships in science for learners who want to work in a science environment but don’t want to go down the traditional university route. Entrance requirements are 1 Higher and 5 Nat5s. See Mr Green for details. #nowrongpath
