75 years ago today, 1000s of men were sailing, parachuting, running, firing, crying and dying on beaches and bridges in France to liberate Europe from evil.
Many of them probably thought what Bill did.
Thank you to all “the Bills” for all you did. #DDay75Anniversary#Normandy

Remembering all 22 #RoyalNavy sailors still on patrol in HMS Ardent, sunk 44 years ago today in the Falklands defending San Carlos landings. Huge courage shown by all aboard. Thoughts to families, shipmates and pals still missing them. @Type21ClubAssoc#Falklands44
@csimons3 I'm ever so sorry for your loss. The pain is profound and the depth of grief is so often only mirrored by the joy they brought to us in life.
@mkcouncil Hello! Why is there nearly 3 weeks of changed dates because of just 3 bank holidays? This is not a complaint or gripe, I'm just curious as to why it takes so long to get back to normal? Is it not possible to just do extra collections in the days after the BHs? Merry
Xmas Folks!
@CrazyVibes_1 Wow! These are EXCELLENT! He has real talent and I hope will feel proud of it one day. Well done to him and I hope next year he finds kinder folks at school (young and adult) to support and encourage him.
@RoyalNavy@HMSLANCASTER There are tears in my eyes to see Lancaster decommission, especially so far from home. I was privileged to spent a very small amount of time on her back in 2015 and will always remember it with great fondness. My best wishes to all the crew, past and present. Rest well old girl.
