@CoachDGibbs@coachDbutler I don't know how many events BAFRA can cover, I remember at our Convention the regular was around 19 and with around 120 active officials, the maths kinda adds up. What we need is more teams playing on Saturday's that dont clash with Women's/Unders and teams doing double headers
@CoachDGibbs@coachDbutler I might know the number of referees or the number of "events" on a weekend?
Either way, I'd rather have less weekends of games than more......
@coachDbutler Dead as in, when was the last time they were active and how frequent?
I'm in no way a mouthpiece for BAFRA, thats done by their official channels, this is my own profile.
I like you're trying to help with the teach tape, 100% referees need to improve, but send it to them.
@coachDbutler Maybe if you reached out via the proper channels, you'd get some answers. I know plenty of coaches this year that have got some answers/explanations via email instead of whinging on a dead platform that no one looks at. That said, not sure how it happened.....
@coachDbutler Nice, well I like your slogan then.
I'm not siding with anyone, this is my opinion. It's not like any of us have a say in the changes anyways, well.....unless we take a spot on the rules committee. Not sure on the TE reference though, scheme is different to ability/outcome
@coachDbutler I'll say what I'm thinking, always honest to you man, be better and find a way to win in regulation then. I can't remember if I've ever been involved in a tie, or officiated in one either.
@coachDbutler Yeh, I don't think we need OT for regular season games. Adds another layer to the playoff implications and then when we need OT, we get it. Back to your original point though, yes it was a hell of a finish, wasn't an easy watch from the sideline though.
@coachDbutler 100% agree! I mean i was one of those who jumped post covid but I also had my family to think about. Glad the club is back and proud of those involved, will always be a Steeler and hopefully, get to a game or 2 this summer!!!
