Difference of opinion and disagreement are part of life. Healthy debate and discussion is essential. The format of tonight's "debate" and the shouting did nothing to instil confidence. This would not be acceptable in other contexts.

Watching the marathon this morning brought back the memories of my own London marathon run back in the day (before I started breaking bones and collecting illnesses). In difficult times, it is a great reminder of all that is still good in the country.

27 appointments, 4 operations and 6 nights in the hospital and I'm done. Cancer free. Just regular monitoring now. Thoughts though with those who haven't made it and those still dealing with the pain, discomfort and especially uncertainty. #cancer
