@jillmcmullon @Gertsroyals Wales is part of the UK. The reason the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 wales flag is not incorporated in the UK flag is because Wales was apart of England when the UK was first formed. & had been for centuries. It wasn’t thought of as a separate country. & did not have its own official flag at the time.

I'm not British. There is no such a nationality. I'm Scottish and proud of it. Like the Welsh and some Irish we are proud of our country.

@Gertsroyals @jillmcmullon Wales part of England? No they were a conquered country. Edward 1 wanted to rule all of the island and conquered Scotland too, until 1314 when Scotland won back its freedom. Then in 1707 Scottish Whigs sold out Scotland to join a political union.

@jillmcmullon Wales is part of Great Britain only because Great Britain is an island not a nation. The UK passport says Great Britain and Northern Ireland to include them. Britain is not a nation the passport gives that away. Or are the Irish of ulster not British.

@jillmcmullon Which part of the Union Flag includes Wales. It is made up of 3 flags. The English flag of St George. The Scottish saltire and the original flag off St Patrick, the Irish flag.

@jillmcmullon It's not hatred. I'm proud to be a Scotsman. I have Irish ancestry but do not consider myself Irish. Born and bred in Scotland. And therefore Scottish not British. There is no such nationality as I have already said.
