After just 2 minutes of viewing water outdoors, blood pressure and heart rate drop. It's more calming to look at a lake, pool, or stream than trees or grass.
Beaches are popular for a reason. Wider bodies of water bring more tranquility.
@jbernstien@CBCNews@mle_chung this is a great project - did you find anything about the salt river that flows under high park? there was a story a few years ago about how it flows from far north of the city at a few inches a year, but under high pressure.
