@EnvComm_ACT@NatureMapr Experts and non-experts eh? The sort of clumsy language that comes out of beaureucrats (politicians) and fails to define the majority that fall in between....
Canberra Nature Map significant sighting (no other e-records of this species and has only been seen once or twice before in our region): A jewel beetle or Ethonion reichei at Booth, ACT from Harrisi: https://t.co/xqpKiT3ISL #NatureMapr#CitizenScience@CitSciOZ@StuartIanHarris
@NatureMapr@CitSciOZ Easily overlooked and similar (at a glance) to some more common jewel beetle spp. like Diphucrania acuducta, etc. In addition, this one was recorded on (just starting to flower) Oxylobium ellipticum at an altitude of 1000m.
@NatureMapr@CitSciOZ@NewSouthWales lockdown finds me doing some retrophotoposting for the recently expanded NatureMapr platform: of which I am a big fan ("you can keep your I-Nats bizzo, not for me!")

A question was thrown out locally asking if anyone had noticed the increase in spiders generally this year...and why? I had certainly noticed and have my theories so fortunately got a chance to air them this morning. My bit starts at 1hr 5 min, 50 secs in
In 2008 I saw genus Diadoxus (L pic), and that was by accident whilst on a birding trip out west in NSW. I'd like a dollar for every Callitris tree I have looked into since then. Finally reacquainted with this beautiful jewel beetle (R pic) last week at Scottsdale Res, NSW.
