McLean "Mac" Cobden is a PhD candidate (on 'all things Superb Parrot'!) at ANU. Climbs massive trees and monitors nests. This baby was born on my farm. Superb Parrots are struggling primarily due to loss of nesting trees & food sources.
I'm very proud.

@MACobden found superb parrots in Canberra have high nest success (i.e. most years they raise at least one chick to fledge) *but* between years, the number and health of offspring varies significantly!
