@PaulEremenko@Universal_H2 Nice concept. Seen this Roro ULD approach in another Aerospace company a few years back. I now see it H world, where it might well gain more traction.
After Scarborough's Futurist Theatre has been demolished, the town is now left with just an area of tarmac on which temporary attractions reside from time to time. How long will it be before anything is built here again & will it be anything quite as meaningful as the Futurist?
@Swim_England Please don't ask for subsidies on costs. You need upgrade kits. This is totally viable and a very cool business opportunity.
Ultimately, pools are too vulnerable by not being sustainable.
@andrewg24190595 Sorry to be blunt. Because we could raffle this prize and raise enough to offset the increased club costs. Might even keep a club going another year. Up to you which club.
@ZacharyLevi Don't forget. Your donating 100% manufactured product. It's a rather tough form of inward investment. It would be interesting for someone to work out the final benefits and so simply go on the ticket price.
@Swim_England I'm taking my third child through the swim training phase. In her case I won't push the competitive pathway. I will simply set her the challenge of being able to swim a mile. If she decides to be competitive fine.
@NSC_Swim@LisaWainwright5@SomersetASA@_ukactive@Swim_England@DCMS As I recall meets invariably have qualifying times. Qualifying times only come from formal events. As a result there in a natural push to gain those times to create the choice and flexibility.
The end result is a very expensive period (years). Lesson leant the ££££ way!!
@SomersetASA Don't assume it's the clubs. A lot of the reasons are the many additional layers of complexity and cost above the clubs... Everything costs and costs and costs...
Swimmers are team members, not consumable resources.
@JMNSwimmer @Swim_England It's actually the time to invest in the pool energy systems. It is possible to cut costs and create opportunities. There is even a clear instant demand. Maybe we only need 100 pools to kick off and a loan from gov. ROI 5 years.
