UPDATE (10:05 p.m.): #SGBOPP continues to advise the public of a heavy police presence in the King Street area of #Midland. An active investigation remains ongoing following a shooting incident that resulted in one individual taken to hospital.

At this time, police believe this to be an isolated incident but are urging local residents to remain vigilant and to report any recent or ongoing suspicious activity. Police continue to ask the public to avoid the area and follow any instructions provided by officers on scene.
