@allenanalysis The only results Americans will see from Trump’s ill conceived economic policies will be negative and it will take much less than a year. I feel sorry for my American friends and family.
@acoyne I don’t belong to any party, for years the Harper government remained in power largely because of the Liberals inability to select a worthy leader. The conservatives appear to be headed down the same inept road of selecting a leader, Scheer, O’Toole, Brown…..?
@Scoop_68@Clearview_twp@ClearviewMayor Nice to see that Clearview has made a decision that reflects a sense of business acumen. With the cost of rent, utilities, taxes and other expenses half or more cannabis stores will be like the old Cheech & Chong movie “Up In Smoke” within a year or 2.
@asus401@ontarioferries OSTC had all winter to design and beta test the new reservation system before releasing it to the public. That’s how well run companies do thinks. Terminal staff on both sides admit the new system is a failure and poorly designed. Listen to your employees and your customers.
@NewsBayshore Nice to see the OPP targeting aggressive drivers on Hwy 6. I commute regularly via ferry to my cottage on Manitoulin Island and there are some insane lunatics that pass multiple cars even going up hills.
@collingwoodtday Many of us especially those that followed the Inquiry closely as I did are not surprised by this report. Give that the four main players were involved with the town for many years, it raises a suspicion about other “deals” that may have taken place in prior years.
I’d like someone to explain the logic and or reasoning as to why gas is $.96 a litre at Sunnidale Corner’s and $1.06 in Barrie. And don’t tell me it’s a free market.
@Scoop_68 Grey Bruce is planning the same. The fight against COVID 19 is far from over. As proud Canadians we’ll show our U.S. neighbours how it’s done, 52,000 new cases yesterday south of the border, they clearly don’t get it.
@robvoigt Too many people are making the assumption that we are over the worst of COVID 19 and things are slowly returning to normal. Not so and besides winter the fall flu season is approaching as well adding to the need for better planning and preparing.
@robvoigt I agree Rob, the current health situation is not going to go away any time soon. We are in all likelihood 1 to 2 years away from getting this behind us and even then different protocols will be needed as we adapt to a new normal.
@Scoop_68 The Goodyear factory was a thriving business when I was moved up from Toronto to head up the marketing department. Now it’s just a derelict eyesore.
Prior to leaving Royal LePAGE I recently collaborated with one of my real estate clients on a story for the Toronto Sun which was published last Saturday February 29th. Below is a link to that story. https://t.co/hSozdn4ID6
@DeborahDoherty7 Addressing transportation & congestion issues starts with better urban planning. Municipalities must put the pursuit of revenue thru development charges, building permits fees an increased tax base second to a safe, healthy enjoyable liefestyle that also protects the environment.
