@PlantBasedNews On a 12 hour flight with EVA the first two “vegan” meals both had meat products in and I wasn’t offered anything else. I begged for some extra fruit and I was told that wasn’t allowed. Just before landing they brought me a tray of fruit.
If you feel like there’s no-one you can talk to, Samaritans of Thailand have a 24-hour hotline that offers support. Call 02-713-6791 for English and 02-713-6793 for Thai. It’s alright to ask for help.
🙏 Please retweet this message as it may save a life. Thank you #Thailand
For the first few months, #Thailand will heavily depend on domestic tourism to help boost the economy. This means both Thais and expats that live here. But, IMHO, if they want our help, they need to abandon the #2PriceThailand policy now. You help us, we help you. Fair?
🇹🇭 I really hope that they don’t forget expats when it comes to domestic tourism. Many of us do more trips around #Thailand than the average foreign tourist. But we are penalised by having to pay tourist rates at attractions. Please help us, help you. Treat us like Thai tourists.
This is a heart-wrenching story that deserves to be shared far & wide. This Thai family were on holiday in South Africa when their world was turned upside down by #COVID19. They were trapped there for 7 weeks until they heard about a repatriation flight back to #Thailand [THREAD]
The #COVID19 virus doesn’t care about your race & ethnicity, so why do some Thai banks continue to treat foreign customers differently? Additionally, with the lockdown of the borders, it’s certain to say that we have all been here longer than 14 days. So, why the discrimination?
This bank manager at the Tha Muang branch of @scb_thailand in Kanchanaburi allegedly refused a customer to enter his bank just because he’s a foreigner. This is clearly racial discrimination. Is this their national policy? If so, I will be closing my account #COVID19#Thailand
Immigration on Wednesday said the government has approved the plan to offer automatic visa extensions for foreigners, though it will not come into effect until it has been signed by the PM.
♦️Overstay Amnesty Cleared by Cabinet, Awaiting PM’s Approval https://t.co/IMLzhGlCLK
URGENT: The temporary Bangkok Immigration office at Muang Thong Thani has already closed. They couldn’t cope with the large number of stranded foreign tourists that keep coming every day to extend their stay and pay overstay fines. Please try tomorrow #COVID19#โควิด19#Thailand
The government quite rightly closed down places where large number of people gather. But for some unfathomable reason they are forcing foreigners to go to Immigration in conditions like this. Please @prayutofficial, sign the order for “visa amnesty” #COVID19#โควิด19#Thailand
