@bobdylan hi Bob. We are making a documentary about the life and work of Gerry Goffin - Carole King and Gerry’s daughters are participating. We know he revered your work and regarded you as a friend. We would love to interview you about Gerry while you are in the UK. Any time
@KnightAyton@JDBakewell Joan was 80 when we cast her as co-presenter of Portrait Artist of the Year. When some people expressed surprise, I said my ambition was to still be employing her when she was 90. And she is. And we are. And she is magnificent
@charliegwen Joan wasn't well for this recording last summer. However she is due back to co-present "Portraits" in April - which we start recording just after her 90th birthday!
@charliegwen Hi Charlie - we'd like to, but you can't sit that many artists sufficiently close to the sitter. We do occasionally get to make "Portrait Artist of the Week" in which thousands of artists from all over the world paint a sitter from a screen. Watch out for details.
There's a new website where you can meet the Sky Arts Portrait and Landscape artists and buy their artworks. It's at https://t.co/YOP84xRmmQ. Check it out

The best way to understand what's happened to Cressida is to think of Aung San Suu Kyi. A puppet of a phalanx of anonymous men, in office but not in power, who dared not criticise or reform them because they could instantly depose her.
