After teaching Christian Formation at @SWBTS for a year now, I am further convinced of these two related points:
1) Ministry leaders need more space for silence and solitude, not less.
2) Humility is *the* operating virtue for faithful and sustainable Christian ministry.
So many dysfunctions have been exposed in American evangelicalism in recent years. What I keep thinking about is this: weeds grow back. It's not enough to expose problems; we must replant ourselves in gospel health. Otherwise we will simply replace idols with different idols.
This new podcast documentary series by @CTmagazine and led by my colleague @MikeCosper is unbelievably fascinating. You will want to listen. https://t.co/6LDUMVatwH
@IRSnews I submitted my taxes on April 16th and have yet to receive my refund. Is there someone I can talk to about why it's "still processing" (according to the IRS website/app)?
.@McDonalds can y’all send a new ice cream machine to the Madison, MS location on Hwy 51?? Second time in a week it’s been “down...” 🤨 had to go to
@Wendys instead.
@cmoore323 @McDonalds@Wendys Man it’s bogus. Last week I just drove down 51 a little farther and they had it. I’ve asked multiple employees (all over) and most say it’s garbage and they probably just cleaned it and don’t want to turn it back on...
So grateful for TVC Resources and TVC Institute for putting out such helpful and amazing content!
Trinitarianism is absolutely indispensable from the Gospel message, because the Gospel is Trinitarian in itself.
