@heystevetan@heystevetan this is the 1st post on X for more than a decade. I've known you since before you were famous. As someone who values harmony, peacekeeping; you try to stay aligned to your virtues, I know makes it hard for you to do this. Wish you a smooth resolution to this fracas.
In psychological terms, projection is a defense mechanism where an individual attributes their own unacceptable thoughts, feelings, or behaviors onto someone else. In the case of a narcissist, they may project their guilt or wrongdoing onto you.

#8 - Countdown from three to one while focusing on the first step you have to take, and do it once you finish your countdown.
I give myself an ultimatum, like warning someone you will shoot on a count of 3. It forces my mind to become totally focused on what happens after 3.

Leadership is about forming 3 Key Narratives in your mind.
#1 - A landmark story of overcoming adversity and how it changed you.
#2 - A story about excellence - especially where challenges outmatched competencies.
#3 - A story about how trust is strengthened where there was none.
Trust is therefore the consistent application of behavior. I am thankful people trust me to lead this team. I am also always gently reminded that others also have my back.
