@visiblecare - trying for over 5 days to get my line ported (finally accomplished today) and me eSIM activated (have tried 6 times over last 6 hours). Still not resolved despite’s emails telling me “it’s resolved”
Been playing with different AI tools for the 2-3 months. Even has ChatGPT write a love letter 💌 to my wife. A passable effort with some heartfelt flourishes - but a bit too Hallmark for my taste.
Just got done editing the latest epidose. Topic: #AI and #ChatGPT and its implications for pharmacy education and practice. Our special guest is @TDAungst. Find out who the Luddite is when the epidose drops on March 7th.
I love this non-traditional peer mentoring network organically formed by @tmpbrock and a group of influential women. Mentoring involves role modeling, providing support, and creating opportunities. https://t.co/3bIMs2y2s7
Just released epidose 14 ... about mentoring. The Fika crew share their mentoring stories 🔖, the qualities of a great mentor 👩🚀 & mentee👨🚀, and potential pitfalls 😱. Share your mentoring story! https://t.co/e9EkdPBh5E
@jwagsIDPharmD@AACPharmacy@DrJeffCain @katesmithpharmd @SC_Pharmacist@michelle80526@lalaws4 One of the most effective ways to problem solve is to consider alternatives. Don't settle for the first thing you can remember / your first hypothesis - come up with as many as possible! I find students often settle for 1 hypothesis or proposed solution. Keep pushing for more.
@katesmithpharmd to graduate continuously curious health practitioners who skillfully collaborate with patients and other health practitioners to use medications wisely, informed by evidence, to achieve positive patient-centered outcomes.
@AmericanAir “We appreciate your patience. A representative will be with shortly. Please continue to hold.” Really? When? Is a 2 ½ hour hold not long enough? Still waiting.

Oddly I have found students to be among the most resistant to “ungrading.” Some just need the validation that they are “better” than their peers. Others worry they can’t distinguish themselves. But are grades and a high GPA really the best way to document one’s abilities?
A lot of appeal to #ungrading -> reduced student stress and anxiety; greater focus on mastery. But can it be implemented in all contexts? Does it leave some students behind? In latest epidose, Fika crew talks with Metallica superfan @jefrenz about her ungrading journey.
Been (re)reading @AliaCrum’s papers over the past few weeks and marvel at how cleverly they are designed. Fascinating. Implications far reaching. Seems to me mindsets are a therapeutic approach we overlook but should harness.
Friday's #Wellbeing Message
Stress isn't inherently negative. We feel stress from things we care about — it can activate us! It's the response to stress that's potentially negative. Mindset is a key ingredient to that response.
Read @AliaCrum's paper.

Working on my course materials for Fall Semester ... and thinking deeply about how to be more focused and intentional by simplifying and subtracting. Latest @PharmacyFika podcast epidose reminds us that less can be more — keep subtraction as an option. https://t.co/aR2GFha3ts
The theme of @AACPharmacy Teachers' Seminar this year was about simplifying - reducing the cognitive load to improve learning outcomes. @KristinKJanke@tmpbrock@DrJeffCain Jenn Trujillo and I talk about mitigating our bias for ADDITION on the latest @PharmacyFika epidose.
On the heels of a great @AACPharmacy#PharmEd meeting, the Fika crew gets together w/ Jenn Trujillo to talk about reducing, pruning, and simplifying. Our lives (and curriculums) have become bloated. Spoiler alert - @DrJeffCain eats half a protein bar. https://t.co/bPsTR72kN2
A bit exhausted but basking in glow of stimulating, enriching, and reconnecting #PharmEd22 meeting @AACPharmacy. Outpouring of positivity has been energizing.
