But immediately in his trademark clumsy fashion tells listeners that National will reintroduce increases to the fuel excise - “but this isn’t a tax on working people”

Hosking the mong then says “well that’s not a tax on everyone, if you don’t drive car then you don’t pay more!”

what a class A moron. An increase in the price of fuel directly fuels the price of everything - transport costs makes for a large chunk of food inflation.

Then Luxon straight after saying “no new taxes” talks about introducing a bed tax, and that he’s also looking at a bank tax.

Luxon and Willis spent 14 billion on their ridiculously named “back pocket boost” the tiny tax cut, kiwis are generally fair minded and in ‘23 I don’t know anyone who voted for national for a piddly tax cut. Winston Peters constantly warned them against the poorly timed tax cut. They didn’t listen and here we are - they are out to make up the difference.

Luxon says the left want to tax and borrow more, which is undoubtedly true, however borrowing under willis has increased.

Net core Crown debt in 2023 was 155 bn.. today it’s 182 bn.

National missed an opportunity to cut spending, and off load a fuck ton of public servants - the very ones who openly stymie the coalition govt- insane.

National have been a major disappointment on many fronts including how they have managed the economy, and particularly in aggressively pursing what they ridiculously see as an economic panacea - pumping us full of Indians and signing away our future with a dog shit Indian FTA.

How about dropping the climate insanity and backing out of Paris ?

Wow. UK podcast Locus eaters which covers politics, culture, thinks New Zealand’s last chance is NZ First.

They are surprised that amongst the political dross in NZ there is a party led by veteran who has all his career fought against neoliberalism which gave us globalisation and with it mass immigration.

The panel attacks Luxon as a ‘gormless’ gimp - who has sold NZ out to Modi and will turn NZ into a satellite of India, and see the parallels between Britains political ruling class (uni party Conservatives & Labour) and National & Labour. They laugh at and dismiss Act.

Embarrassing for us is that these guys cannot believe how gullible kiwis are to sign up to the dog shit India FTA, and allow temporary politicians to change our countries demographic - “NZ will never be the same- Unless NZ First is given a much stronger hand”.

Once again Luxon kicks off his week this morning telling Hosking that he is hell bent on a social media ban that is tougher than Australia’s - and talks about the UK as an example of what he’s looking to do.

The UK Govt made law two years ago giving the Govt control of algorithms so the state decides what content you will see, this will now come into effect. MSM like the BBC given preference on such platform as youtube. They will control the narrative, and explains why MSM the world over has been the key cheerleader of “age gating” the internet.

In Australia their marxist eSafety commissioner is working on legislation to ban ratios. A move to quell criticism of politicians online. Labor in Australia have in-acted draconian hate speech laws which prohibit “islamophobia” and they even tried to make Climate change denial hate speech.

This is all where this crap was always going to go, it was never about keeping kids safe, it was about controlling free speech, controlling everything you do, all built on digital ID.

Luxon also told Hosking he’s “not even prepared to listen to any debate about nuclear energy” and that solar panels will bring us affordable energy security, à complete lie. Australia has seen energy costs increase by 20% in the last 3 years because of the unreliability of renewables and the increased transmission, distribution cost it incurs.

The truth about the India-NZ Free Trade Agreement

This could force voters to abandon Labour and National at the next election.

1News didn't provide any valid counter-argument of why the India-NZ Free Trade Agreement isn't good for New Zealand. Both National and Labour are pushing it through without NZ First's support, but it could be the demise of both parties. Here's some things 1News didn't say about the deal that are detrimental to Kiwis:

1. Unbalanced dairy access: NZ fully opens its market, but major dairy products like milk, cheese and butter remain excluded or face high Indian tariffs.

2. Excessive immigration concessions: Grants significant work and student visas to Indians without caps, potentially impacting NZ jobs, services and significantly increasing the cost of housing for all Kiwis.

3. Unfair market deal: NZ offers broad tariff-free access to Indian goods while gaining limited reciprocal benefits.

4. Investment commitments: Requires NZ to invest billions in India, with risks of clawback if targets unmet.

5. Poor deal for farmers: Creates more competition for our farmers and could put them "out of business", like the influx of Chinese canned foods, that made it impossible for our local growers and manufacturers to compete, and is the real reason they closed down.

This is not a good deal for Kiwis, farmers and local manufacturers. It benefits exporters, but the rest of us "pay the price".

Who has enough influence to force National and Labour to push this through so fast without due diligence?
